# Trust, approvals and spending

> Control what an Agent may do on its own and how much it may spend.

Tap the **pencil** on an Agent to change its purpose, permissions and spending limits.

## Trust levels

| Level | Behavior |
| - | - |
| **Look only** | Can read and report. Never changes anything. |
| **Ask me first** | Checks with you before it sends, buys or submits. |
| **Full trust** | Acts on its own inside its budget. |

## The approval floor

Even on **Full trust**, an Agent still asks before **spending money, deleting, or anything it can't undo**. Approval requests appear in the Agent's chat and your Inbox with Approve and Deny buttons.

**Never ask me to approve** (Full trust only) removes that floor: when it's on, the Agent just does it. Test runs always keep approvals, even with this on.

## Spending limits

* **Per month** and **Per run** limits, in dollars. Leave blank for no limit.
* The card shows how much the Agent has spent this month.
* When a limit would be crossed, the Agent stops and asks instead.

<Tip>
  Start new Agents on **Ask me first** with a small per-run limit. Raise trust once you've seen a few good runs.

    No. Risky actions are classified by the system, not by the Agent's own description.
