# Choosing a mode

> Compare Unlimited, Orchestration and Frontier side by side.

Open the mode picker above the composer and choose **Unlimited**, **Orchestration** or **Frontier**. A short card under the tabs reminds you what the selected mode is best for.

    Use **Unlimited** — drafts, summaries, explanations, quick lookups.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Would a wrong answer cost you?">
    Use **Orchestration** — money, health, legal, business or technical decisions where a second, third and fourth opinion matters.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Do you trust one model for this job?">
    Use **Frontier** — for example Claude for code, Gemini for long documents, or Grok for fast-moving topics.

## Quick Chat and Project Chat

* **Quick Chat** is your everyday chat from the home screen. All three modes are available.
* **Project Chat** happens inside a [Project](/chat/projects) and always has your project files and connected apps available. Unlimited isn't offered there.

## Common questions

    Orchestration. Four models answer independently, challenge each other, and Aura combines the result.

    Unlimited — it's uncapped.
