# Your first five minutes

> From sign-up to your first great answer.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create your account">
    Go to [aura.youniverse.ai](https://aura.youniverse.ai) and sign in with Apple or with your email (we send you a sign-in link). Aura also runs as an app on iPhone.

  <Step title="Ask your first question">
    Type anything into the composer and press Enter. Aura searches the live web when your question needs current information.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a mode">
    Switch between fast answers, deeper thinking and multi-model orchestration. See [Chat modes](/chat/modes).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Attach files or talk instead">
    Drop in PDFs, documents, spreadsheets or images, or tap the microphone to start [Voice mode](/chat/voice).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect your apps">
    Turn on [Work Mode](/chat/work-mode) from the **+** menu and connect Gmail, Google Drive, Slack and more.
