# Build a community portal

> Members, posts and paid access for your people.

Clubs, courses and creators all hit the same wall: the group chat can't hold files, events and payments. A member portal can.

## What to ask for

> Build a members-only portal for my running club. Members sign up, see upcoming runs, RSVP, post photos and comments, and download training plans. Admins can post announcements and manage members.

The Builder creates accounts, the feed, events and the admin tools. Ask for paid membership and it adds checkout so only paying members get in.

## Take it further

* **Tiers** — free vs paid areas with different content.
* **Events calendar** — recurring weekly events with RSVP counts.
* **Welcome email** — greet every new member automatically.
* **Moderation** — admins can remove posts and members.

## Tips

* Seed the portal with three or four posts before inviting anyone — empty rooms feel empty.
* A custom domain makes it feel like a real club, not a side project.
