# Build an inventory tracker

> Know what's in stock, what's low and what sold.

Shops, makers and warehouses all need the same thing: a simple system that answers "do we have it?" instantly.

## What to ask for

> Build an inventory tracker for my candle business. Products with name, SKU, photo, quantity and price. A page to add stock when a batch is made, a page to log a sale that reduces stock, and a low-stock warning list.

The Builder creates the product database, the forms and the low-stock logic. Ask for barcode-style SKUs or categories if you need them.

## Take it further

* **Suppliers and reorder lists** — "when stock drops below 10, add it to a reorder page."
* **Sales history** — charts of what sells best each month.
* **Multiple locations** — track stock per shop or shelf.
* **Team access** — staff can log sales, only you can edit products.

## Tips

* Attach your current spreadsheet — the Builder can turn it into your starting product list.
* Start with quantity tracking only; add costs and margins once it's habit.
