Glass camera, film strip and landscape frame
Open AI Studio → Imagine → Video. Describe a scene, subject movement and camera direction, then choose the model and supported settings.

Build your shot

1

Write the scene

Describe what happens during the clip, not just how a still image looks. Keep one short clip focused on one coherent action.
2

Choose the output

Select the supported duration, aspect ratio, resolution and generation count. Model choices determine the available values and credit estimate.
3

Add compatible references

The workspace provides reference slots for start frames, end frames, images, video and audio. Use the slots supported by the selected model; unsupported slots remain disabled.
4

Review the generated clip

Play the output and inspect motion, continuity and audio before downloading or reusing it.

Reference types

A model does not necessarily support every reference type. Where an audio-generation option is available, choose whether the clip should include generated audio.

A practical sequence

Create a reference image, generate a focused clip, then use Music → Video to create a matching soundtrack. For a speaking portrait rather than general scene animation, use Lip sync.

History and iteration

Explore and History keep previous Imagine work accessible. Remix revisits an earlier generation’s settings; it does not guarantee an identical clip. Search History when you need an older result.
The selected model must support that input. Use a compatible model identified by the control rather than assuming every model accepts it.
Video generation produces short clips within the selected model’s limits. Plan longer productions as individual shots.
Do not assume so. Read Imagine’s Non-ZDR notice before sending sensitive media.
AI Studio controls require Pro or Elite. Duration, resolution and model affect the displayed credit estimate.
