The Performance tab gives your app a health score and lists what’s slowing it down or making it fragile — with a one-tap fix for each.

What it looks for

Slow paths

Heavy pages, slow database queries and wasted work.

Bloat

Oversized files, unused libraries and heavy images.

Stale code

Dead code, old content and leftovers from earlier builds.

Broken

Correctness risks — things likely to fail.

Maintainability

Duplicate helpers and unused exports that make future builds slower and pricier.
Each finding has a severity. Fixes that only remove things are marked safe — they can’t change what your app does.

Quick and deep scans

Performance audits run on Claude Sonnet at medium reasoning. Deep reviews more files, more screenshots and more recent changes than Quick.

Auto-clean

Turn on auto-clean and Aura applies the safe removals for you, every two weeks or monthly.

Fix everything at once

When Security and Performance both have open items, Fix all together sends them as one build — cheaper than two.

Monitoring: catch breakage

Monitoring checks your app after every build and on a schedule (daily or weekly, always or only when something changed). It reads your code and live error logs and runs a real smoke test of the live app, then reports actual breakage: sign-in, payments, saving data, dead buttons and integrations. It also scrolls each page fully and attaches a screenshot as proof of anything it reports. Automatic monitoring runs on Gemini 3.8 Flash; a check you start yourself runs on Claude Sonnet.

Common questions

Safe fixes only remove unused things, so they can’t change what your app does.
